Description & Specifications

Every time your car is serviced the plastic oil filter housing cover is removed and refitted. This can cause the top hex head to become worn out, stripped and make it difficult to remove. The engine oil filter mounts to the cover and the cover mounts to the oil filter housing. Plastic engine oil filter caps can also become brittle and weak due to engine heat and high temperature engine oil.
