At Only Euro, we're always looking for ways to make ordering the correct part easier and reduce the chance of compatibility issues.
We've recently introduced a new VIN feature for selected products with fitment restrictions.
What are fitment restrictions?
Some parts cannot be accurately identified by make, model, chassis or engine alone. While a part may suit many variants of a vehicle, there can be differences based on production date, factory options, VIN breaks or other vehicle-specific details.
For these products, you'll now see a "Fitment Restrictions Apply" notice on the product page below the Add to Cart button.
How does the VIN feature work?
When viewing a product with fitment restrictions, you can optionally enter your vehicle's 17-character VIN before adding the item to cart.
If a valid VIN is entered, it will be attached to that item and submitted with your order. Our team can then use the VIN to verify compatibility before dispatch.
Providing a VIN is optional, however it can help us identify your exact vehicle configuration and avoid delays caused by compatibility questions.
VIN Memory
For convenience, you can choose to save your VIN for future visits.
When enabled, your VIN is stored in your browser and can be automatically attached to eligible products when required. This saves you from having to enter it every time you place an order.
If a VIN has been successfully saved, the VIN button will display "VIN Saved".
Important Information
- Providing a VIN is optional.
- A VIN is only attached to an item if a full 17-character VIN is entered.
- If the VIN field is left blank, the item can still be added to cart and purchased.
- Entering your VIN does not verify fitment instantly. VIN verification is performed by our team before shipping where required.
- Not all products require a VIN.
Why We've Added This Feature
European vehicles often have running changes, VIN splits and model variations that are difficult to identify using vehicle details alone.
By allowing customers to optionally provide a VIN, we can improve fitment accuracy, reduce the chance of ordering the wrong part and help ensure the correct components are supplied the first time.
If you have any questions about fitment or using the VIN feature, our team is always happy to help.
